The Yatra Quiz

Today is the day of Puri Rath Yatra, the greatest Rath Yatra in the world.

Yatras define our country. “Long before Indian unification, One India had sprung from the wanderings of pilgrims;” “These wanderings called ‘yatra’ (journey) define our country,” scholars have said this.

Yatras have inspired an English word. Countless bhajans have been sung on another Yatra. An anthropologist defined a whole State by a Yatra. Sometimes the deities themselves set out on a Yatra. Try our short quiz celebrating our yatras.
