Today (Feb 19th) is Shivaji Jayanti. Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundation for an empire that destroyed the Mughals and stretched famously from “Attock to Cuttack.”
Swami Vivekananda said of him “Shivaji was one of the greatest national saviors who emancipated our society and our Dharma when they were faced with the threat of total destruction.”
At this time, his vision, bravery and execution were without comparison. His legacy lives amongst us in many ways, in culture, in symbols, in places and in our own freedom.
Five lucky participants in this quiz will receive “ The Maratha Century” by Dr Uday Kulkarni as a gift.
